Unity of Phoenix was the setting yet again to meet an amazing teacher from The Secret – Michael Bernard Beckwith. The Agape Choir was there performing that night, too. It was a beautiful evening in every way.
Our first meeting with Bob Proctor was in Hawaii, several years before The Secret. He wrote the first iteration of the course for a personal development company we worked with. Then, he was the featured speaker at our event in Hawaii.
I was fairly new to the world of Law Of Attraction and Personal Development and hearing Bob in person was a revelation!
Kevin and I got to meet him when he did a workshop at Unity of Phoenix. His workshop was really compelling and we were so happy to find that he was kind and welcoming in person. It’s always nice when you meet someone who has quite a bit of celebrity and find them to be down to earth and humble.
Several years ago I was honored to assist Deepak Chopra in a book signing after his presentation at Unity of Phoenix. He was there to talk about his book Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul. It was such an enlightening talk.
We can say we want success, but any time we are agreeing with conditions that are difficult, any time we talk about how life is unfair, or give any type of energy that is of a lower nature or out of harmony with the thing we say we want, we actually are creating resistance with the very thing we want.
The best thing about re-watching this video is that I can remember that joy and excitement and be back in it. That’s why it’s a great idea to make a video when you’re in a moment like that. You can go back to it again and again to raise your vibration to attract more of the same.
Trusting your inner wisdom may be awkward at first, particularly if you grew up around people who taught you to look to others for answers. We each have exclusive access to our inner knowing.
The concept of affirmations is that repeating a positive statement will eventually allow you to cross over into belief of the statement and create the desired outcome. Sounds plausible, right?
When we believe in ourselves, there is almost no limit to what we can accomplish in our personal lives and in our outer-world affairs.
It’s all about growing your belief and relaxing into the realization that all you are wanting to attract is right outside your door. It’s a matter of a subtle shift or a tipping of the scales, if you will. From there, you start to build on the belief as the abundance starts to show up in your experience.
