The Work Ethic of Will Smith

The way to the top is simple …

It’s easier than you think.  Most people are not willing to:
***stay up late at night
***get up before sunrise
***unplug the television
***read more books
***tell their friends NO to a night out
***etc. etc.

Will Smith has an INCREDIBLE video where he talks in great detail about what it takes to have “top shelf” success.

Pay special attention to (1:36) in the video …

He talks about “Talent” (natural ability) vs. “Skill” (working and working and working and working on your craft!)

You have to have RIDICULOUS, SICKENING work ethic.  While the other guy’s sleeping … you’re working!  While’s he’s eating, you’re working!

No matter how “talented” you are … if you don’t KEEP studying and dedicating yourself to being BETTER every single day you’ll eventually be overtaken by someone more skilled!

We work with many successful entrepreneurs like ourselves.  We’ve found that talent is optional.  Skills can be acquired, applied and mastered.

In “sickening” fashion.  From homeless to $200,000+ per month in less than 3 years. THAT is work ethic! (Results not typical – see disclaimer at

THAT is the mindset necessary to be successful … even before you make your first penny!

THAT is the mindset of the team we work with.  Even if you’re reading this message and have no “talent” but are ready to learn new “skills” of success, wouldn’t NOW be the best time to take action so you and your family can have the results you’ve been dreaming about?

See you on the other side…

How to Make Powerful Decisions

So I was reading Oprah Magazine, which I love and found some great excerpts from an article about Decisions by Martha Beck.

Martha writes about Claire and her intention to have the perfect man, home, and career and said “I can’t commit to the wrong thing!”  Martha then shares that Claire’s life was devoted to obsessively avoiding something economists call ‘opportunity cost’.  Whenever we choose one course of action, we rule others out.  Giving up those other options is the opportunity cost of any decision.  Claire couldn’t bear the thought of losing any opportunity by making a clear choice.  She was an opportunity miser.

Just as money misers hoard their wealth, living as if they were poor even when they’re rich, opportunity misers hoard their freedom to choose — and end up becoming prisoners of indecision.

I see this happen so often when people are evaluating getting started with us.  Thankfully not as often as people who see what there is to offer and just get started.  But it does come up.  And if you look deeper into that person’s life, it shows up all over.

Some people are so afraid to make this truly simple decision that they miss out on something great.  “What if?”, they say.  “What if it doesn’t work out?”  And I say, “What if?”  “What if it’s the absolute greatest decision for your life?”

Andy Andrews said “We don’t always have the ability to make right decisions, but we do have the ability to make our decisions right.”  So just do it.  If you see the opportunity and it all looks good – move.  It’s tortuous otherwise.  You can start and always quit if that’s what you decide, but at least you’ll know and won’t always wonder “What if?

Another great passage from Martha Beck’s article:  People who trust their gut over their brain often take flying leaps with little information — risky, but at least they get somewhere.  Folks with no faith in either their intellect or their instincts generally follow the path of least resistance; again, not an optimal strategy, but not paralyzing, either.  Great strategists trust both intellect and instinct; they gather information until they feel they can make a good decision.  But people who try to decide with the mind alone, who place no faith in their heart’s desires, are doomed to stall and fuss, compare and contrast, forever insisting that just a little more knowledge will make the choice clear.  It won’t.

I’ve heard this called the “Paralysis of Analysis”.

paralysis of analysis

Eventually, people who practice this talk themselves out of even the best situations.  What you have to ask yourself is, “are the people who are offering this to me having success and do I trust them?”  If so, move…. take action.

More from Martha:  Check in with yourself:  Does your life feel meaningful and on-purpose at this moment?  If the answer is yes, your energy is invested in living your best life.  But to the extent that you feel misery, your energy is asking to be reinvested.  Misery literally means “the feeling of being a miser.”  If you’re miserable, stop harding your life energy.  Spend it now!  Make a choice, any choice.  If you’re still miserable, you can choose again.  Eventually, you’ll see that all misery is simply life asking you to trade your current course of action–or inaction–for something purposeful and true.

From Faust, “Seize this very minute.  What you can do, or dream you can do, begin it.  Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”  This doesn’t mean you’ll never misstep.  It means that when you trade indecision for choice, you’ll be rewarded with either success or education.  Guaranteed.

You have the opportunity to discover that for yourself.  Feed your mind, but feel your heart.  Trust in your truth.  It will be the best investment you ever make.

What Are You Saying When You’re Talking To Yourself?

Saw this excerpt in an article from Debbie Ford:

When you’re kind, generous, and respectful toward yourself, you feel worthy and deserving of claiming the gifts of this world.

So it prompted me to think about all the people who are struggling out there in whatever way.  It all comes down to one thing – self worth.  When you feel that you deserve the best (and you do) your thoughts, actions and thus manifestations will all be in alignment.

It is only then that you will attract the things you want.  Until then, your thoughts of being undeserving (even at a very subconscious level) will continue to bring you your current existence – or worse.  This, my friend, is the work.

You came here to live an abundant life.  Everything that is available to one is available to all.  WE are the only ones who can block our success.  We get in our own way.

The great news about that is it’s also in your power to get out of your way and manifest every good thing you want to attract.  The work is in reading, watching videos, journaling, coaching – whatever it takes to internalize the message that “YOU ARE WORTHY.”  “YOU ARE ENOUGH.”

Sending much love, my friends.  Be easy on yourself.

Downton Abbey with George Clooney?

Oh my goodness!  For anyone who loves Downton Abbey, this is hilarious.  Fun to see Jeremy Piven in here as Harry Selfridge, from the BBC show Mr Selfridge, as well.  It was great of George Clooney to do this for charity.  Click Here or the image below to see the special.

For me, I have a lot of heritage in England dating back to this time period and before, so it’s fun to imagine what some of my ancestors were like.

The writing on Downton Abbey is so great.  In watching season 5 (or series 5 as the Brits call it), the only storyline I didn’t like was the one of Bates and Anna with Anna going to jail.  Please, no more jail for these two Julian Fellowes!  Time for Bates and Anna to be happy and have babies.

My favorite part was in the Christmas special when ::::::spoiler alert::::::: Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes got engaged.  “Of course I’ll marry you, you old Booby!” “I thought you’d never ask!”  So, so sweet.

If you’ve never watched Downton Abbey, you can binge watch at  It’s a fabulous show.  Word to the wise – be sure you have time for several episodes in a row as you won’t want to stop at one!

Our Powerful Story of Overcoming Adversity

Every Monday night at 9pm EST, thousands of entrepreneurs from around the world meet on the telephone for an “hour of power” from a top six- or seven-figure earner inside of our company.

It’s an incredible opportunity to learn the in’s and out’s of how these amazing leaders were, in many cases, able to overcome bankruptcies, divorce, downsizing, sickness, handicaps, etc.

So it was an incredible privilege to be asked to host this landmark call recently and share OUR story of overcoming adversity.

We invite you to listen right now … especially if you’ve ever:

—had a car repo’ed

—been evicted

—had bill collectors calling (and knocking on your door)

—made money and then lost it all

—been on food stamps

—been diagnosed with debilitating conditions

This is just a small list of some of the “overcomings” we’ve made in our adult lives so far …

The great news is we went from “Bankrupt To Bank” in just 90 days.

And have generated 28 months in a row (so far) of 5-figured income.

We don’t say that to impress you, but to impress upon you that this is available for you, too.

Grab a pen and paper.  Start listening to the call.  We’ll actually give you a bit of “homework” toward  the end that, truthfully, most people will ignore.

However, the small percentage who take it seriously, WILL thrive in their lives like never before.

And to those people we enthusiastically say, “Welcome to the team!”

Merry Christmas Gratitude Video

How We Went from Bankrupt to Bank

Everyone has a story to tell. In these pictures we just got done telling ours on stage at an event in New Orleans.

We’ll share some of it with you here.

We’ve been in the network marketing industry for many years and have had times where we made a lot of money. Unfortunately, the income was not sustainable, nor were the companies, so we ended up living on a roller coaster.

Some months would be great and then others we’d make little or nothing. It’s a great way to have stress but not success.

Following one “leader” led us to lose everything and we found ourselves in a small townhouse having to file bankruptcy in December of 2011. We were completely busted, but we were unknowingly setting ourselves up for a huge comeback. More on that in a bit…

We had two of our children living with us and it was horrible and humiliating to go through this in front of them. Failing is one thing – but failing in front of your kids is excruciating.

We had the intimidating guys banging on our door to repo our car day after day. Until one day – after going to the store, we returned to the parking lot to find it gone.

This led to over six months of renting a $9.99 enterprise special each weekend to do shopping and errands. During the week, we had to live without a vehicle. That was really hard with kids.

The charade of having to go to the car rental place each weekend and then returning it… Having a different economy car every weekend. Certainly not the life we wanted for our kids.

When you claim bankruptcy, you are allowed to have only $100 to your name. We were working with a struggling network marketing company at the time where we had a very small income coming in. It was really bleak.

We struggled for a few months after bankruptcy and then found a group of entrepreneurs who were actually having consistent extraordinary results.

It was tough to think about one more company…. we were so burned out. Almost beyond hope. But we thought “What if… what if this is the one thing that will finally work for the long term?” That was enough to get us started.

We immediately started having results with $4,000 in our first month and in our 4th month we had our first $20,000 month.

We had really been wanting to move east from where we were living in Phoenix, Arizona and we were able to move in mid-October. We really wanted a “neighborhood feel” which we found outside of Atlanta. That Halloween night when we took our son trick or treating in this great new neighborhood and we were feeling so grateful, we checked our back office for our income and we hit $100,000 that night. That was 7 months in. We were ecstatic!

We spent 15 months in that neighborhood and then decided we wanted to go somewhere a little warmer in the winter. The freedom to pick up and do that is not lost on us. This is what the money is for – the freedom.

We found an amazing neighborhood in Sarasota, Florida and got busy with moving into a great house.  We even added a rescue puppy to our family that year.

Kevin And Melissa Family

We finally felt prosperous in every way and the peace we feel is priceless. We heard someone say once that money pays for the experiences that money can’t buy. We really get that now.

Our son does virtual school from home and is home with us while we do some work here and there and just live our lives. He’s taken up drumming and is starting lessons soon. Something we would’ve had to deny him such a short time ago.

Our older kids are successful in their own rights and have been able to pursue their passions.

Recently, we moved back to Scottsdale, Arizona.  We’d missed a lot of our friends and the Spiritual Center we were very involved in.  From a health perspective, Melissa’s had some challenges that her doctor’s recommended a drier climate for.  It was all pointing us back to the desert.  We’re so fortunate to be able to have lived in many different places.

We’ve made millions in different companies over the years, but we’re now working with a company where people can make as much or more with the education in our products as they do from the affiliate offer.  ECommerce and Digital Marketing is huge in today’s world.  It can also be overwhelming to learn.  Our company has created phenomenal education to walk someone through from A to Z.

Our mission now is to pay forward our blessings to as many people as we can. To let them know how we did it and to guide them in creating the income they deserve to design their lives.

If you’d like to know more about what we’ve done to transform our lives, get started with us today at If it’s for you, great – if not, that’s ok, too. Either way – we want you to remember just what’s possible in life and we wish you the very best!
